St. Joseph Parish

Needham, MA
III Manual Open Style Drawknob Console
80 Stop Controls
10 Coupler Controls
53 Ranks

This unique installation utilized the foundation of Wicks Opus 5916 from 1982 for the tonal expansion and addition of an AEolian Skinner Antiphonal Organ which was available from Dr. Charles Callahan. The rear Gallery installation of the Skinner instrument provides support for congregational singing as well as allowing a foil to the main organ.

The main instrument, located in the Chancel on the main Axis of the building, has also been expanded to provide more complete ensembles and remove some of the extensive unification. The end result is an excellent instrument that is servicing St. Joseph's well and will continue to do so for generations to come.
